Am I the only one who has problems with the installer? I've downloaded it 3 times and every time I run it, it only installs the manual (no matter whether I choose custom or complete installation_. When I open the archive with WinRAR, I get a message that the archive is corrupt when I try to extract the .dll.

I'm on PC.

I almost missed it. Choose "Custom" then look at the far left, there is a button named "Change". You can change the install dir there. Lame installer!

Thanks, I'll try it now! :)

Man. $200 USD for this? With the release of Tone2's wonderful BiFilter, I'm not sure if that price tag is justifiable. It's a great plug (love the big dial!), but $200...ich don't think so.

Ditto... :?

Orally fixated chicks high on Ecstasy? Might be worth $200.

Indeed, that's quite the value. Hats off to Sonalksis!!!

So I was doing some quick testing with the demo.

Here's a test clip, first bit is just an untreated tone, second bit is the Sonalksis filter, first at 12db slope on Rude, halfway through I flip to 48db on Rude. Last bit is another, unnamed filter for comparison, which is designed to be decidedly more rude sounding.

The Sonalksis has a pleasing sound, and the control action is very smooth, so good marks for that.

I have a lot of filters on hand, I don't know how essential one is over another unless I see a unique application in it. I'm not seeing heap loads of unique applications here.

i find this fillter very smooth and good sounding.
and from quick demoing, doesn't seem to turn my audio into plastic sandpaper.
