A Gruesome Discovery in Boston
I'm a couple mile north of you, 'bout 5 miles from Nashua...

Haha I was going to mention someone porting the PODXT software over to the PC - what I meant that amp vst's, not amp moddelling in general - I wish I had a POD XT!!! or even better Pod XT software!.

Let me guess..... it's a DI box..... no even better.... a DI box with a real tube in it..... too bad it's not going to be as nice as the one I already own..... though I can see how some will like this.Squids wrote: There are a few revolutionary aspects of its progression that no one knows about yet but are pretty powerful for guitarists. I wish I could talk about that but I can't yet.
So how am I doing? close enough?

Did anybody notice changes in models disclosed on Amplitube website?
No more "double rectifier"... Maybe replaced by "Tube Lead" model... Strange is it?

Same design change for the AC30 model, and maybe others..
Does IKM have some legal issues with amp manufacturers?

How about the change to the stomp boxes?
They are all colorful now.... a good thing I guess.
If anybody is watching from IK, I think a graphic EQ in the post amp section would come really handy (u kno,we dum guitar players don't kno how 2 use EQ with round knobs)

Hey - check it out - I got an e-mail from IKM telling me to get all excited about winter NAMM 2006 because it's gonna feature this hot new product called Amplitube 2!!! Hey I wonder if that's the same product they announced at....... winter NAMM 2005!! (http://namm.harmony-central.com/WNAMM05 ... ube-2.html -- I like the bit at the bottom of that press release - "AmpliTube 2 is expected to be released in the spring of 2005"

Btw, in this intro http://www.ikmultimedia.com/AAA/index.html they are still using the old version with the "Double engineering".
I think they got a special phone call from Mesa Boogie, and it was not to ask them for a release date!
And what happened to the AC30? did it dissapear?
Great catch ~BurnY~
