Hi Musers,
Let's say that you have many EastWest Libraries/Kompakt players:
eg. Collosus, Ra, Symphonic Orchestra, ...
Are there any benefits to individually installing all of these players on your receptor if you already have Kontakt? (perhaps you lose a pulldown menu with all of the presets?)
Wouldn't it be simpler to just have Kontakt installed, and copy the libraries only to Receptror for use in Kontakt? (Do the libraries themselves require some Auth)?
Wouldn't you also save auths for each of the EW players (potentially for other computers) by doing this?
Thanks for any recommendations,
Kevin L.

Those libraries need registration and authorization. If you simply copy them to Receptor, they will not open with Kontakt. You have to install the specific Kompakt player, register and authorize, then they can be opened with Kontakt.

So if I delete the plugin after that... (say colossus for example) will the libraries stay intact and licensed?

I believe so. I never tried it. You can try one, and if it does not work, you can re-install it. But, the players themselves do not take a lot of space.
