Well, you can also do that in KTGranulator (but not directly). The IOT (inter-onset time) parameter determines how much time there is between each grain (as long as the max. number of grains is not exceeded). If you set Max. grains to 1, and the IOT to the Duration + your wanted gap time, you should get what you want (if I understood you correctly). So: 1 grain, Dur. = 0.5 s, IOT = 0.6 s gives you a gap time of 0.1 s.
