I just installed the EW Gold Library...

Do I need to, or should I install the DFD Extension?
If I download it to my Mac, can I simply install that download into the 'Drop Insatllers Here' folder?

Anyone done this?

I know it's off topic, but I also put it on my Mac, to use with Logic Pro 7...
Do I need, or want, the DFD Extension there?

Hello,

You dont need to install the dfd extension. DFD version 1.2.9 which Gold uses is already pre-installed on your receptor with Kompakt. If u have uninstalled your Kompakt, please let me know, I will have to redo the Gold installer.

No, I haven't unistalled Kompact.
So the EW Gold Player will search this DFD out and use it?

Yes you are fine. You will notice when u use Gold, the flickering dfd light next to "options" indicating it is working.
