Can't find the RA or Colossus or "freebees files on Rec

Hopefully I'm missing something obvious in this. I recieved my Receptor which was the package deal with Colossus (+ East/WESt RA). I thought the libraries would already come loaded on Receptor. I haven't hooked it up to the computer yet - just using a midi controller & loading stuff from the front panel. I can't seem to find any of the Colossus, RA or "free" banks or patches just a few default banks are appearing.

Do I need to download all the installers from Plugorama & get the Ilok licenses before these banks will appear? Or do I have to install the libraries myself? The manual doesn't seem to be clear about this.

Thanks in advance :(

It should show on the front panel. The first thing that comes to mind is that you are not looking in the right place. Receptor does not ship with any multi or single patches that include Colossus or RA. You have to click on the SOURCE button. You should see:

Code: Select all

01 Source:Plugin
   A-Sine
"A-Sine" will be replaced by whatever plug-in you have instantiated. Turn the lower rotary encoder next to the LCD until you see "Colossus" or "RA" The name should be blinking. Normally, you would press the lower rotary encoder to instantiate the plug-in, but in the case of "Colossus" and "RA" you have to register and authorize them first.

If you've done that and still don't see them, another possibility is that the plug-in cache is not up-to-date. Hold down the MULTI button and press the POWER button three times in quick succession. This will restart the Receptor software (it will not reboot) and rebuild the plug-in cache. When you see "Loading..." on the front panel, you can let go of the MULTI button.

If it still doesn't work, we can try something else, but first try these two things. Also, please connect a computer. For these two plug-ins it is a must to register and authorize them first.
