Random tone generator

I was messing around with the demo version of MAX/MSP the other day, and I wrote a patch with a metronome that controls an oscillator that randomly sends out a tone from 1-127. I want to work this in to some of my live stuff (kinda electronica) in Tracktion. Is there a cheap plugin that will do this? Or maybe I should just record some of the random bleeps and use it as a sample.

Maybe you can do something like that easily with Synthedit, and you will get directly a VST plug-in. With Max/MSP, you can export your patches into VST plug-ins with Pluggo too.
