RMX Troubles

Hi, I tried installing Stylus RMX on my receptor and I've had a series of problems. First and foremost, trying to installthe latest prep installer (stylusrmx-prep-1_0-2.mrpk) failed. I don't think it is corrupted either. I've downloaded it with firefox which seems to be the recommended browser. I tried it several times and every time it failed.
Suprisingly all the spectrasonics folders seem to be there already. I tried deleting these folders but the folder located at
'\<Receptor HD>\Program Files\ Spectrasonics'
would not budge because it has write permissions. Anyway I decided to continue on with this installation process and I copied the SAGE and support folder over to the relevant location as specified in the manual (same as above)
'\<Receptor HD>\Program Files\Spectrasonics'
Then I clicked on install again in the receptor setup menu. Once again the install failed, however, RMX shows up in the list of plugins. When I open it up it has a very suspicious looking challenge code, which I am dubious of. It doesn't look authentic at all.
Is there any known reason why either of these installs would fail? Have I missed something vital? Could anyone at muse or someone who's experienced this please help.
Many Thanks.
Phil.

Hi Phil..
First off the stylusrmx prep installer is already preinstalled on ur receptor. Hence the failures. All u had to do was to move the SAGE folder and the dll to the correct location as per the instructions, and click install after the dll is moved to the unupported folder. I have to say that the rmx challenge code does look ugly..
Give that a try..

How did you update your stylus to 1.5. Did you delete the existing dll and replace it with version 1.5 and reinstall it? With the earlier version of Stylus the SAGE folder goes in Program Files/Spectrasonics as suggested on plugorama. We dont have a 1.5 version to try this. Is it a downloadable upgrade?
