Thanks for the gift. Merry Xmass everybody.
I agree with what have been said about the cabinet. I get a nasty however manageable overtone in the low mid. In my experience, the sweet spot for "modern" sound is near the cone (not off axis, not aimed straight at the cone) with a liitle angle. Now I have to test it a little more.

I agree with what you say.
It was a real nasty tone to get,
this model took some time to make.
And yes, it was well tweaked.
Easy to tweak for you guys, with the full version.
The cab and mid sound was chosen on purpose.
I wanted to offer you a new flavor of amp for xmas,
a sound (and feel), no other amp sim can give you.

what is the we are talking about?...

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Thanks indeed - this baby sounds pretty decent. I'm glad to be able to get some feel for what you've been working on at last.
Just looking at the response in Gliss Eq shows the great honking peak in the 100-200 Hz region but a highpass filter (and a notch too perhaps) can correct that without any drama.

This definitlely has great response to playing dynamics; a nice "tube sag" feel. I look forward to trying it out with the tone knobs available, because I'm getting a huge peak at 250Hz; I assume this corresponds to the (unavailable) 'bass' tone control being fixed at something really high, and I can't seem to get rid of it, although to be fair I do use a baritone guitar with active EMG 81/85 pickups which probably puts out a lot more energy in this region. Aside from that, though, I can tell that this will indeed be very nice when finished. Great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MidiWorks!!!
I can't beleive you came through!! Honestly, I had more doubts about you than I had about IKMM....
If the full fledged thing sounds close to this limited edition, then dude, you have a very successfull product on your hands.
Good luck to you, thanks for the gift and happy christmas to all

Last orders over!
Now we gave you ONE amp model for free,
you pluged in your guitar and played.

You wanted a heavy distortion,
that sounds and feels like the real thing,
now you can feel and hear for yourself,
what you've been waiting for.
Have fun !
Rene

This is a really great and meaty sim. Thanks alot
A couple questions but in no way complaints:
There is some minor aliasing modulation going on in the background, which you'd never hear in a mix, but will the final version have oversampling as an option?
Lastly, when I play palm mutes or pick a hard note the sag is fairly constant regardless of the response setting. Is this just a feature of the particular amp model and will you be able to switch out the dynamics entirely in the full version?
Cheers! -pig
p.s. are you using any of the Norman Koren or Steve Bench Spice tube equations? The ramp from idle to full is perfect and it's no more noisy than my real amp. Good job!

Never heard that... and yes, there is oversampling already.A couple questions but in no way complaints:

Click the red light to turn compressor off.
No, distortion and response are based on my ideas.p.s. are you using any of the Norman Koren or Steve Bench Spice tube equations?
Trail and error...
Thanks, but there should be no noise. The ramp from idle to full is perfect and it's no more noisy than my real amp. Good job!
Turn down the input knob.
