Filterscape VA not avalible

Hi!
I found Filterscape when I was looking around for an Autotuner. So I´m evaluating it right now, and I like what I´ve seen so far.
Except for one thing... I can´t find FilterscapeVA, and thats the plugin that I am most curious about.
I´m using Logic Express 7.1 together with MacOS 10.3.9. Filterscape and FilterscapeQ6 is there, and if I look in the AU-manager FilterscapeVA is there. But when I´m trying to add the plug-in I can´t find it!

Anyone who´s got a suggestion what I should do?

Uhm,

this is probably a simple one

Filterscape VA is an instrument, not an effect...

Create an Instrument Track (!)
Click the "Input" selector, *not* any "Insert" - there it is, in "Audio Unit Instruments"->"u-he"->"FilterscapeVA"

That can explain one thing and another!
Emberrasing... It´s quite obvious that I´m a newbie uh?

But that leads me to another question...
If I´m suppose to use it as a instrument. Do I need to youse sidechain to get the AudioChannel into the software intstrument? And Logic Express 7 doesn´t support sidechain!

Please tell me that I´m wrong and that it´s no problems for me using FilterscapeVA!

FSVA works fine in Logic Express.

Unlike the rest of the Filterscape bundle, FilterscapeVA is a synthesizer, not an effects unit, so it's meant to generate audio (in response to MIDI messages), not to process existing audio.
