Hey guys Ive been remastering my older albums with tracktion 2 and ozone, just letting everyone know if they didnt already read the post in everything else (music) thread, dont mean to cross post but just want to let all my tractioneer friends know!

If you get a chance to check the music out, do so. I may tease Ron about stuff from time to time, but I love his music. Believe it or not, my supertop favourite KvR artist, musically, is our very own rpc9943.

did you remix and remaster or just remaster?

I like the strange sound textures and chanllenging vocal melody lines. It would of been nice to hear a longer sample of a track at a higher mp3 quality setting.

remaster. the mix was done a long time ago and all i could really do to it was use ozone's tools on it to pull down the harsh EQ, limit, and excite it up a bit

i did try once to get a four-track tape player to import it back in, but it didnt work out, the master tape's quality went down significantly...

have you tried the new CLAS plug from redefined audiometrics? it might prove useful for mastering/ remastering.

I'm sure you did a good job, it's not easy bringing old stuff back to life. Plug may come in handy in the future.

I use it on all sorts of places, try it on a vocal track.

This stuff is pretty nice Ron. I wish the previews were a bit longer; some of the songs just start to get interesting when they fade.

I hear a bit of a Jane's Addiction thing going on in some of these. Good to hear some more of your music Ron.

heh janes addiction? never really listened to them

i guess though the "wanting more" in my samples will interest you all in ordering the trilogy

im going to sell them for $10 apiece or $25 for all three

i simply have to design and print the new liner notes and covers

any one else been listening?
