Filter/native interface for certain GUI VST parameters?

Is it possible to add a filter that controls a selected VST parameter from a synth/effect on the same track?

Since I run T2 on dual screens, I have a lot of horizontal space and I would love to 'move' some commonly used parameters (such as rez and cutoff) onto the main T2 screen.

...or even have chosen parameters displayed in the area where non-GUI VSTs have their controls displayed, when the VST is selected.
