Hi all,
I'm considering to buy Receptor for my home studio as well as for live situations... What is the cheapest place to buy Receptor? I'll upgrade the memory to 2GB and the HDD to probably 160GB. Also, here is the list of VST plugins that I've bought or planning to get, which of these would work on Receptor (supported/unsupported). The ones with *** are the ones that I can't live without!!!!
1. Minimoog V
2. Crystal
3. Discovery 2
4. Korg Legacy
5. Atmosphere ***
6. Embrace
7. Plugsound free edition
8. Superwave P8
9. Absynth 3
10. B4 ***
11. NI Pro 53 ***
12. Kontakt ***
13. Hypersonic 2 ************** (yes, that many ***)
14. RealGuitar ***
15. BFD ***
16. Trilogy ***
Thank you,
Kenny.

50 views and no one come up with any answer
Anyway, I was checking Muse website and seen that most of my plugins will work with Receptor, either supported/unsupported... But I couldn't find anything about Hypersonic 2... I'll wait until it's supported, then.

Hypersonic is a Steinberg plug-in. I suppose it's using the Syncrosoft dongle. Receptor does not support the Syncrosotf dongle at this time.

Well I'm in the UK and am looking to buy a Receptor, but the one shop that has it is selling it for £1000 for just the basic unit (256MB 40GB hard drive) which is baddddddd! So I'd love to know if there's a shop out there in the US who ship to UK and can do me a Receptor with 160GB and 256MB memory (I'll update the memory myself) Just looking for a good dealm and a reputable firm to satisfy my needs to never buy another keyboard again.....

Try the link below. These guys shipped mine to me. I got a nice deal and it worked out a little cheaper than the UK RRP.

Google ASAP pro audio Tower Bridge in London. Then give them a phone (Robin)
Me and a mate just got two ex-demo units for £839 each. They can also get upgraded disc and ram.
Be aware the next shipment (with max Ram and big disk)is gona get a price hike so move quick.
Good luck

I was searching around and seems to be the cheapest price is $1399 for the base unit.. I'll see which store have the cheap HDD upgrade... I'll buy and install the RAM myself.
Thanks all,
Kenny.
