I am looking for a plugin that may help me balance a mix. I have poor acoustics in my studio which I cannot improve on until I move to another location.

I have seen software around that will show a frequency graph of a mix and how the bass, mid & treble look. I think it can also be cross referenced with other CD's :?:

Thanks

Dude, this one might suffice http://www.espace-cubase.org/anglais/pa ... tlaudioeq1

I picked this up a few years ago, and haven't found one that can top it, from a tube EQ standpoint.

Thanks for the reply but it's not what I am looking for as I have a UAD-1 card.
It's some sort of spectrum analysis software - I think I need to get my post title changed.

Are you sure spectrum analyzer will help you balance a mix as much? I'm not so expert, but an spectrum graphic it's not that easy to understand. Kinda counter-intuitive.

Voxengo SPAN... Lots of options for weighting the analysis curve too... Pretty helpful.

and it's free!

Voxengo SPAN will show you your overall Spectrum

Voxengo Soniformer can help balance the spectrum of your mix.

I've been using ConcreteFX' Qspectpro a lot lately; excellent analyser.

HarBal and AAMS will provide detailed spectral analysis and allow you to correct it to bring it more in line with commercially mastered reference material.

Also: Elemental Audio Inspector (there is a free version too) or Firium, Sonogram SG-1, Elevayta Extra Boy Pro and your audio editor of choice should have spectral analysis.

PS:Not only is TL EQ not an analyzer, it's long been discontinued, hasn't it?

Great, that's what I'm looking for!
