I have been working on some large projects lately and seem to get alot of muted/unused tracks filling up the edit. Often as a safety if I want to change something in a rendered track at a later point etc.
Altough I like that you can quite easily mute-shrink-and drag tracks to the bottom of the project in Tracktion, I would like to see "Hide unused tracks" as a feature. It would make large projects much easier to deal with I think..

Yup! Having them stay that size (lockable track size, a fairly old FR) when you select "Expand tracks to fit screen" would be nice.
Folder tracks would take care of a lot of this. The raw track would stay in the "folder", muted if you like, and the render would be at the top and visible when the folder itself is collapsed.
