I'm considering upgrading to XP64 within a month or so, but haven't heard how Tracktion runs on it. Last I heard, some 32 bit apps were running better on XP than XP64. Is anybody here using it?

It runs fine. I doubt it's any faster as it's running via the 32bit emu.

XP64 is not an officially supported OS. Official support for XP64/VISTA64 will eventually be added to Tracktion, but no time frame has been anounced.

OK, thanks.

I've been running it for about 3 months and I've never had any problems.

Have you seen any performance increase? Like less cpu-load? I'm curious because i also have an AMD64 and thinking about changing my OS.

There's no way I can make any comparison right now. I think that overall there's not much difference. I can't see any reason to switch to XP 64 ATM, and in fact I'm going to install regular XP for dual booting as some of my hardware still doesn't have 64bit drivers.
