Hi,

Sorry if this is so completely obvious, but since the whole point of a forum is to save time on mistakes, I thought I'd ask...and of course I'll be one to reciprocate should I have the knowledge that YOU need also.

Here's a few basic Rewire w/FL Studio questions -

1) When rewiring FL Studio, does FL Studio's "audio engine" still producte everything that it would in stand-alone mode, but not in addition it's output goes to the master of whatever track I have it as a filter on?

2) IF I have a whole song in a Playlist in FLStudio set to a certain tempo, will T2 recognize this? I guess I'm asking - do both hosts tempo-sync? How do you get them to do this if not?

3) (More advanced, I guess) Can any of the effects in T2 be used on a single sound/sample in FL if there is a whole mix of the playing in an FL song? Like if I just wanted to tewak the reverb on the snare in FL can you use any of the plug's in T2 or is a rewire device completely "self-contained" so to speak?

Thank you very much, and have a super great day, all!

1) FL's engine works in tandum with the rewire host.

2) (I'm not a T2 user) The host tempo usually controls FL's (from my experience). There are certain hosts that allow the rewire client to also control the root tempo (ie. FL rewired Acid Pro). In the case of Acid Pro, it functions as both a rewire host and a client. So that might have something to do with it.

3) Depends on the audio routing in T2. I know that you can route FL channels to 1 of 16 outputs then the host can apply effects to any of these individual channels (but again I'm not a T2 user so it may differ from host to host).

By the way I use FL Rewire (client) in Adobe Audition (host).

Hope this helps..
