Tracktion Software

I see you can purchase a new Tascam US2400 for $800 from Musicians Friend and Sweetwater. Anybody using this with Tracktion? If so any issues?

I know... Trying to get a local music store to come down in price based on those on line prices but they're not budging... Pity... Good news is that musicians friend have recently started shipping some of their product to Canada and this is on the list.

I'd asked about this at one point as well, but got no meaningful responses. Supposedly it does Mackie Control emulation, but unfortunately unlike the Mackie controller, it has no text display. My guess is that it works at least as well as the other Tascam units that emulate Mackie controllers, but I don't want to spend the $800 to find out...
