Iam afraid of sir because it adds that delay, please someone tell me about tracktion with sir because i need to know.

If you are going to use a plugin with large latency you must either use a host with full PDC or insert a delay on other audio channels which matches the latency introduced by SIR.

I use sir in a rack as an aux send, works fine. Just not as a 'live' fx.

Far as I know, there is a bit of latency whith SIR. If you open up SIR it should tell you what the figure is. All it means is that you just edit that number of frames out from the begining.
Or, you could - if your using one instance of SIR on just one track, add a bit of latency to all your other tracks to match. There is a companion to SIR that can do that, as well anolgueX???? and voxengo might have something that can do that too.
You probably would not notice it if you had SIR on all of your tracks or just 1 instance of SIR on your master slot, but when you go to render your track you might notice there is a bit extra on the begining and a bit cut-off on the end.
I ussualy find that I process each individual track whith SIR first and then master them as a whole later. Mainly because many instances of SIR can take a bit of a load.

Basically, just put SIR in a rack on it's own track (this is where the Wet signal will arrive). Now, for every track you want reverb, just copy and instance (Ctrl-drag) the rack to the end of the track. Make sure you set the Dry to 0dB, Wet to (-inf) and use the L/R input levels (below) to increase the amount of send.
One thing to bear in mind, PDC seems to have a bit of trouble on notes that start at 0 ticks (the beginning of an edit). You might need to push your song ahead by 1 bar to negate this.

I use Sir in Audio Mulch regularly, and I've never noticed much of a problem with latency.
