{I posted this in the Everything Else thread but I want the tracktioneers' answers as well}

I'm looking for a way to split my midi keyboard into two separate software synths. Is there a plugin that lets you route certain midi notes to certain channels? Unfortunately my casio doesn't split channels on its own so if there is a tracktion way to do this I would be enamored with joy.

ok...got it...
I created a rack in Tracktion and loaded 2 instances of ndc's MIDInoterangefilter into the rack...that's all it took!

there are a lot of realy cool free midi vst's for modula use (IE, for use in a rack) over at the eXT resorses thread

well worth checking out if you like to play with racks ;)

i have 3 synths running from one keyboard, two playing the same octave, one playing bass, & one of the two mids have a cord plugin on it

shite loads of fun ;)

Thanks for the tip subz, I'm going to check out the thread right now!
In case you haven't seen it, midiplugins.com is a great resource.

You wouldn't want to send me the rack preset would you? Or perhaps just a screen shot? I'd like to see how you have it set up.
