So i checked out the samples, and this thing sounds amazing, any idea how long til lit will be available and if so is it a demo/shareware/freeware/full product ?!

i have been searching for great hi gain amp sims for the longest time!
i've been through guitar rig, amplitube, and other such nonsense.. but the samples i hear from this amaze me, i cant wait to find out what the license on this is... and how much my wallets gonna weep

Was this cue above, the preview facelift done with the Christmas Tube freebie? If so, what where the settings, pre-amp (interface) guitar and pickups? Humbucker or EMG?

I've polished a bit of the high end fizz occuring in my last example, here's the result (tone 1). I tried a different tone with a single EQ, but I'm not sure about this one (UniH). Need your opinion guys.

Hey MrM hoe gaat het ? (he he, I know some tricks... hell if you're not dutch I'll look like a fool) Thanks for your input.
To get things straight : for all 3 versions (facelift, tone 1, UniH) I used Xmas Tube, my Fender Fat Strat (i.e.: humbucker bridge pickups) through my old trusty Digitech RP-7 pedal board.

I'll tackle the whole settings issue later because right now I really need some sleep. (the fact that I accidentally lost my previous post didn't help either).

please forgive me, but doesn't that make the test moot...even if you by-pass all the effects I still question if it colors the sound some....fwiw and to be fair, I really have never cared for digitech or dod, so please keep in mind I might be a little jaded, and the RP-7 was not my favorite either (though they did sell well)...

The only thing the bypassed RP-7 could do to the sound is cripple it... not add a positive coloration. Besides, the pre-amp section is bypassed not just the FX, leaving a simple volume control available.
We'll agree it's more of a handicap in my signal chain. I said "trusty" because it always filled what I expected of it when playing live... which is not quite the same in a home-studio POV.
If you want a scientifically fair test then I suggest someone throws a DI box at me
