File missing - can't reassign it

Hi,

following scenario:

2 machines with Tracktion 2.1.0.6 installed (My license - 2 machines, both in different places / cities).
I finished a tracktion-project on machine 1 and saved it. I only sent the tracktion-project-file to machine 2 by email, cause all audio data and all vst-effects / -instruments are also available on machine 2.

When I opened the project on machine 2, Tracktion needed to reassign the audio files (of course) and that was no problem - except for one audio file. The file is marked as missing and I can't reassign it in Tracktion directly.

Is there any way I can reassign this single audio file? Or do I have to fully delete this audio-take in Tracktion and import the audio file again and do all the effect settings again?

it may be because of the german language version- i think i heard there were some issues with that...

When you say you can't assign it directly, do you mean that the normal way of directly assigning isn't working, or that you haven't found that function yet?

It's in there somewhere....

I need a virtual Tracktion machine so that I can do better help during my lunch hour.
