Upgrade T2 on laptop hlep

The laptop was running T2 jsut fine then I loaded the latest upgrade 2.1 and I don't know what happened. It wont let me asign tracks. When I arm a track I get all kinds of noise.

Here are the specs:

Dell Smarstep 250N
Pentium 2.4 MgHz
60 gig 7200 spin hardrive
512 memory

Am I going to have to reload T2 and then redo the upgrades or is the latest upgrade the only one I will need to do?

Probably obvious, but worth asking: does this problem persists after restart?
Have you made sure that the problem isn't hardware related (badly connected cables etc.)



If you reinstall T2, you can use just the latest version - no need for older ones (unless you want to roll back to a previous version, of course)

I have not hooked it up to my 1620. I had been able before the update to set up a project witht the filters and assign the channels. Also arm the channels without and noise coming from the program.

I was even able to do a final mix without it being hooked up to the 1620. It doesn't even come up with the icons on the right for all channels.
