But, I did. hehe
The only thing was I could hear it before I bought it.
Good choise.
There are 4 people involved in this product by now,CatBoy wrote: Amplitube and Native Instruments have legit reasons for charging so much.
They have payroll to meet, buildings to pay rent on,accountants etc.
I see this as a "side-project" for you and not your actual income. Is this true?
it is NOT the one man band project anymore, that it was at the beginning.
At a certain point of the project, I needed to get
more people involved, to be able to put all the features into the amp I wanted.
Only because of this, the amp is getting a reality.
Edit: A "side-project", no, but there are 2 other VST products I am working on.
My actual income ?
Near zero income the last 3 years,
3 years, is the time I work on those projects now.
Crazy eh !?
I only live from my reserves since then.![]()
Why so long ?
Because I want, when you go and spend your hard earned cash on my products,
you will get something outstanding that I am 100% happy with.
Untill that, there is no release.
Because of the reasons mentioned above,CatBoy wrote: I own a couple virtual amps already and wouldnt mind adding yours to the collection just because I've seen you put in the work at this forum over several months.
But, at 250.00 you would lose my support.
$99 sounds much more applicable IMHO
$99 is simply impossible, but we are discussing the price isue at the moment.Yes, program change is no problem.CatBoy wrote: One question...is the amp midi capable?
Can you change presets via midi?
I did not add automation because I felt its not needed...
Ok, will add that to the most important knobs/buttons.
Thank you for your input !

gee you would think Rene would take that bet...he could buy it himself and try to at least break even...championrabbit wrote:Anybody ready to take my bet that NOT A SINGLE PERSON EVER PAYS MONEY FOR THIS PLUGIN, EVER. EVER, EVER?
I don't believe that there will ever be a release; I believe that this entire thread is nonsense.

Midiworks,
Congratulations on those 5150 demos. They sounded great, and to my knowledge, no other amp sims sound so f*ç%i"g big and tight. There was a kind of "fizziness" about the previous 5150 mp3, but those got me real excited!
Will your sim have a MIDI learn function? Will it be possible to control it with a foot controller?
Who knows, maybe you will release it before AT2, that would be nice...

I don't believe that Rene is real either; he's clearly a SynthEdit plugin GONE BAD!Hink wrote:gee you would think Rene would take that bet...he could buy it himself and try to at least break even...championrabbit wrote:Anybody ready to take my bet that NOT A SINGLE PERSON EVER PAYS MONEY FOR THIS PLUGIN, EVER. AT2's newest schedule is for a release IN february. So I think Rene won't beat that. Or will he? Will you, Rene?
Best wishes, FRitz
In the end will be the word.

Please ask your player (dimitar?) to include some riffing and palm muting in his sound clips.Midiworks wrote:New 5150 model

You really ask? I mean, googling 5150 amp would give you instant results.
Peavey 5150 guitar amp (Van Halen signature, named after VH album), now produced as 6505 after Peavy splitting ways with Van Halen. Nova days one of the first go-to amps for High Gain stuff together with Mesa Boogie.

Thanks Vervil. Sorry though I have played guitar all my life I don't know too much about amps I'm afraid. I know Acoustic amps
, Mesas, Fender and Pignoses and have only played through a Marshall plexy a couple of times really didn't like them all that much - too raunchy. I only learned about the AC30 five years back
Google? I'm Too lazy to look up the url right now. Besides I prefer to stay in one place when I'm on line.
Cheers,
Gordon
