seriosuly, you need hi-end ad/DAs and good mics and pres to get advantage of this thing.
Its not magically going to make everything sound good if your soundcard has crappy converters.
meh 2cents.

I disagree: a great EQ is a great EQ. We can all hear the difference between an every-day digital EQ and really well-made stuff like, say, URS, Sonalksis, Voxengo, etc.keyman_sam wrote:seriosuly, you need hi-end ad/DAs and good mics and pres to get advantage of this thing.

But I agree you'll get the most out of it with top-notch stuff. And I guess that's why the price tag is there; the assumption is in place that you already have pro A/D, etc. But I'm sure it would sound good even on a less-than-ideal system. I look forward to finding out!
