Just wanted to let everyone know that the users guide addendum (English only right now) has been added to the download page at my.mackie.com. This pdf explains all the new features in great detail. It is also included in the tracktion application itself as part of the pdf users guide (again, English only) but if you want it as a separate file, you can go download it.

Just one problem -- following the directions in the addendum, I have yet to be able to get the mp3 export to work with the Lame download for Mac OS X, linked from the dialog.
I have to select the file named 'Lame' within Lame.framework included with the download (as opposed to the Lame.framework itself), and Tracktion doesn't complain at all...
But then when I do the export, the progress bar sweeps across, and when done I see a message saying: "The rendered section was completely silent -- no file was generated."
This seems to also be what I see in the Finder as the file is being rendered -- a file appears, but its size remains zero through the duration of the rendering operation, and then is immediately deleted when complete.
Any clues?

Nevermind -- I figured it out.
The first time I tried this, I downloaded the Lame.framework from the page on VerstionTracker.com -- that was a mistake. That version seems to not be able to be linked from the current version of T2.
I then went to http://rarewares.org/mp3.html -- also linked from the page on mackie.com -- and downloaded the Mac universal binary, and the encoding phase now works.
Here's the full URL for any others who are interested:
http://www.rarewares.org/files/mp3/lame_3.97b2.dmg.zip
Download, expand, mount, and copy the file "lame" to wherever you want it. Then point T2 at the file via the Settings -> File Settings -> LAME location setting.
