Wavearts Masterverb5 - whack it on plate with a hall ER and adjust the top of the eq down a litte.
You'll also need to eq up the tops on the vocal to avoid losing the intelligibility in amonst the wash - some light compression also.
Kind regards
Dave Rich

if you guys had to do mixing for ENYA which reverb plugin would you guys use for her vocals.
I have my ears on these three plugins.
1.Wavearts Masterverb
2.Artsacoustic Reverb
3.Sonic Flavours R66 Reverb (i find this rather weird but interesting)
which one would you guys recommend me ?
Enya's sound?
Five instances of each.
I'd go for at least 7 instances of each.
Probably not the answer you're looking for - but out of those three reverbs, to get the Enya type sound...I wouldn't use any of them. You're more likely to get closer using convolution and some Lexicon impulses. Definitely not TC (they're too thin for that type sound). I just find almost all native reverbs a bit too metallic or white-noisy for using heavily and in abundance. I really couldn't see Enya's engineer touching those plugins with a rather long barge pole.
I'm not just dismissing all native reverb plugins - they have their uses for some things - but you want a specific sound that (IMO) they're not capable of.

For Enya I would probably use the Sonitus fx Reverb. It comes bundled with Sonar 5 SE or PE, or can be purchased for just $49 as a standalone download from the Cakewalk website here:

In terms of bang for buck it is outstanding, and has great smooth tails. Very good for ambient type reverb effects and on vocals.
Also worth trying the demos of:

I am having a look at Big Tick's page and it doesn't mention AngelinaFx. It used to be free for Angelina owners...

I once read in an interview with the Enya sound guy that he used a Quadraverb for that sound.
In the end will be the word.

Angelina is a synth. Big Tick gives (or used to give) for free to Angelina buyers AngelinaFx, a vst that could "angelinize" tracks:

You do know, of course, that Enya layers up to as many as 80 tracks of her own voice to get that effect. I don't think it can be recreated with only a reverb.

Here`s an example of a custom setup I did in "Wizoo-Reverb".
I used a dry recording of Lisa Gerrard`s accapella voice from a "Dead can Dance" cd , then inserted it into SX3 as a mono track.
EQ`d off the bottom of her vocal in that track, put a hardknee compressor on it also.(was needed)
Opened an FX track and inserted Wizoo-reverb...set it up as I listened for what I believe is an example of Enya`s reverb effect.
Mixed the dry vocal track to center...and the full wet reverb FX channel slightly to one side.

If you like this effect,(and I did a sorta sloppy job of it),ask me,and i`ll tell you how it can be done with any reverb with the appropiate controls.
