Is there a way to record mouse input on VST/VSTi? I like to 'play' the filter frequency control with my mouse on Frohmage while a track is playing back.
Here's some output I did using TapeIt to capture the FinalMix output, whilst I twiddled the Frohmage frequency knob (starts at about 0:45 for those that can't stand to listen to the whole thing!)
What would be the right setup to be able to record this control? I didn't try my mod wheel or data slider on my old-school keyboard (VFX-SD) since I'm not sure it's got a smooth enough response for this.
Oh, and by the way, what style of music would you call this (besides crap)?
It's at the Auditorium - you know the routine and if not, look for the miniature speaker icon to download.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Scott, it sounds like you might want to look into recording your automation, no?
It's the button in the transport controls that looks like a record button, but smaller, and has an "A" on it. One is automation playback (which you can turn off if you don't want to lose your automation but don't want to hear it at the moment) and the other is automation record.
Off to listen to the song.

[added: cool track, I call it filtronica.
