Importing Files EQ question

Does anyone know if T2 strips the EQ and effects off of tracks imported from a CD?
Just trying to learn about recording, that is if my head is not too hard.

nah ... it basically just rips the audio as it is ... audio from a CD is pretty much fixee as it is ... nothing could REMOVE the EQing and effects from it (although using effects yourself you could CHANGE the way the imported audio sounded obviously) ...

Thanks Rob, I thought that it would work that way but wasn't sure.
