If I had bought this product (Komplete Kare), I'd be pretty pissed. Are there any KK2006 owners out there who care to comment?
It's one of the reasons why I didn't buy the Kare yet. I wanted to see the updates before I got them. Komplete already has so much to get into, I thought the first occasion to invest in updates was the launch of the next Komplete. But I will probably want the next major updates as well...

There's no wheel re-inventing here, just consolidation of other successful works, but NI did it, and I wants it, presiouusss..

Native Instruments denies rumours that new Khazi knob box a 'deathtrap' for long haired musicians.

Good search options will give benefits to sample library users, but for synth users it's less important. That NI works on host I thought since komplete bundle 2, that was not a move forward. Hope there will be a sequencer.

According to this article, KORE's going to implement OSC as well. Realtime jams over the net, anyone?

That product trailer is completely ridiculous. Whoever did the voiceover belongs in a monster truck pull, not an instrument trailer.

As we don't have easy access to future music here in Germany, could you perhaps quote the exact wording of that part in their announcement?

Well two questions, is the plugin in native format, if yes, wait no longer and buy Receptacle advertised at the top left side of this web site. If no, will the existing users of NI plugs have to purchase new licenses?

Direct quote

"Native Instruments who signalled their intention to shift the emphasis away from software by moving into the world of DSP wit Kore - an integrated software plug-in hosting environment and control surface package. Allowing you to host and run any VST plug-in on its hardware to save on processor useage....."

Yes I read FM yesterday - it does seem this is more than a host/controller combo now - its also a DSP powered audio interface and hardware VST host with OSC control built in - could be formidable (and pricy) - says it uses USB2 to connect to the computer. Watchout Receptor.
