hello,
I'm having too many problems with 2.1 and I'd like to go back to 2.0.8 (or what ever the previous release was).
my problem? I deleted my 2.0.8 when i installed 2.1 and i didn't back up 2.0.8. When i go to my license at my.mackie.com I only have the option to download 2.1.
Does anybody know where I can download 2.0.8? Does mackie have this file somewhere on their site?
FYI, my main problem with 2.1 is that my audio will stop playing back for no apparent reason, or it will drop out for a few seconds. I also feel like it's a bit more of a drain on my cpu. (I'm using a powerbook, 1.33 mhz G4 apple with 1.25 gb ram). Doing the bench mark test from this site, on 2.0.8 i get 14 tracks before going into the red, with 2.1 i get 13.
For now I'm going back to logic express 7.1 (which i don't like so much) unless mackie resolves 2.1 issues, or has a way to roll back for the hasty upgraders such as myself.
thanks!

Hi mate,
It might be an idea to upgrade the RAM in that machine. The minimum spec to run T on a Mac is 256meg, which would mean you're about 254 and 3/4 meg short. 2.0.2.8 was pretty handy, but even it would struggle on that kind of spec.
Cheers
chico
ps Only joking, worst case scenario PM me, and i'll get it to you somehow. But 256 meg is the recommended minimum, so you're doing well if you're under that. See the specs here;

have you tried to repair the disk and permissions from your OSX intall disc?
This cleared up a few niggles for me.
Also I did the pre-bindings in terminal.
In terminal type
sudo update_prebinding -root / -force
let it run then do the above disk repair.
otherwise I have 2.0.8 for mac and can skype transfer or IM it.
p.m. me.
regards

sbacon,
If you still need version 2.0.8 (for windows), let me know. I can email it to you (yikes!--tell me where to) or post it somewhere.
Peace,
Fox

Thanks everyone!
I'll try and repair permissions and run that script. it would be great if 2.1 can be fixed in this way for me.
if not, i'll take one of you up on your offer. thank you!
