I'm having problems with recording the midi created by
vsti arpeggiators. I have tried with NT Yoke,
but it keeps messing up big time with latency.
If the latency had been stable I could have edited it,
but it's not.. It's all over the place..

OK, some funny guys of you might say
"Hey, an arp is all over the place!!"

DUH, I know, so spare my you funny dudes

Help!!

Hmm, I'm beginning to wonder if z3ta+ have midi out capabilities... Anyone can confirm this? Can't record the midi in Nuendo either..

You can try using EnergyXT for recording MIDI, then exporting and importing it back to Tracktion. The demo can do this.

It is an ovekill for this task, but everyone should own eXT anyway - so here's your chance to get yours.

There might be a freeware MIDI recording plugin floating around, search for it.

Many synths' arps don't actually produce an apreggiated MIDI, do they? I always thought that (and admittedly, never actually confirmed) they took IN a MIDI sequence, and sent OUT an audio one!

Surely the arp, if set to a certain setting, will arpeggiate the same way each time anyhow, no? Or is it that you like the particular sequence and want to use it on a different synth?

I want to edit it further to get rid of some of the
"arp" feeling.. I've read through z3ta+ manual and couldn't find anything on the subject.. SO I reckon it is not supported..

Some synths have the ability to send out the arpeggiated as midi though, The Visus is a good example. But offcourse, the hardware is much to expencive to buy just for that..
