What the heck are you doing in this thread ?
Its a public forum, isnt it ?
And I am a normal person with my own thoughts and opinions.
Just because I make a amp does not make me a alien. :ud:

Next time you read a bad book blame it on Microsooft Word, not on the writer, will you ?

Anyway SE alone is not capable to do what I did and do.
Not yet.

And about that, as a software developer, you should see the point : is there a single hardware guitar box out there which (as simply as vst does) lets you change/tweak/try sound afterwards.... ?
IMO, the only reason why you prefer to oppose hardware to existing or now-soon-to-be-released software, is that you probably have nothing ready for fast release.

You are totally free to show up where you see fit.
But other people are also totally free to judge your appearances for what they are.
As far as I'm concerned it's totally misplaced, this is a sign of bad taste, and more, a lack of fairplay.
Did anybody from .... or from... (put the names of your direct competitors here) ever show up in your threads to attack your (supposed-to-be-released-someday)amp ?
---
But go ahead, a few more moves like this, and you will probably lose some more potential customers.

yeah I thought his response to you was absurd...attacking potential customers never seems to be the best business plan...but Mw can attack me, I'm not exactly a potential customer. I personally, and this is just my opinion, do not care for the character he has shown here as a businessman...as a person I think Rene is a riot, I enjoy ribbing with him...as a developer he appears to be giving people what they want (al beit at a snails pace)..however he has yet to prove himself as a businessman imo...

I hope he takes that as constructive as intended

That's just not nice. Although I am sure you are seeing enough colors to make up for it.

Also, Carmen Electra was the first choice but she was busy
Yes, you did mention that, and I would agree that mrs. electra would have been a far better choice.

Concerning the "super modeling" play on word, it was first mentioned in this post http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 64#1446730 , but that doesn't make the "plasticy" chick less annoying :-/

Concering the SuperStompIO, as Melodioso mentioned, I was referring to the color of it, not the shape or functinality. It is sad to see a piece of pro hardware using these colors.

It looks like a cheap piece of equipment from the 80's. If I do buy it, when it will be released late in 2007, I will most defintly paint the little bastard.
Ironically most of the people I've talked to have said they think it looks great. But, of course, with it doing unique integration between hardware and software I think the last thing anyone is really concerned about is the color of it (even just part of it). The rest of it is black and silver which is not too different than other pro foot controllers. I like the brush metal sides and the back bar which is good as a handle as well as for wrapping your cables around. I happen to like the design a lot in fact (better than a lot of other amp sim controllers/pods I've seen). Straight forward, easy to use, durable... Anyway, it isn't like there is something else out there that does what it does but has more options in colors. ;)

But, yeah, paint it when it's yours! I am curious to see what each person things is the "ideal" color it should have been.

Dark gray and black, or black on black. no purple for sure or anything flashy.

I want lovely walnut, fruitwood, or pine end panels like on my beloved Moogs. (j/k, I can't afford the hardware gizzy and probably won't learn guitar well enough to use such a critter)

this thread did at least lead me to actually play a guitar last night, and influenced my indie record shop shopping today, under a silvery overcast sky between cool and warm and rain or not ... thanks Hink et al.
