How does Receptor work with Logic 7.1.1? Does it appear as an instrument within Logic?

If I'm on a Mac does owning Receptor mean I will be able to use Windows only plug-ins, previously unavailable to me?

But, as asked above, how do I do this with Logic? What about accessing a plug-ins parameters and saving settings from within Logic. And automation of plug-in parameters?

Someone else can answer this better, but AFAIK Receptor acts just like a stand alone MIDI instrument, so will work with any MIDI sequencer.

I think Receptor does only use Windows plugins, so yes, you can install freebie Windows plugins you can't use on the Mac.
As for accessing plugin parameters, i don't know, it's probably done onscreen on the Receptor. Automation is probably via MIDI controls.

But I'm sure Receptor owners can answer this better...

That's a good concept: Buy a $2000,- machine to run all the freebie plugins! :hihi:
