It's even worse: The poster of Ms. Silicone works as a dongle for AT2...Meffy wrote: (I hope my AT2 upgrade doesn't come with a wall poster of Ms. Silicone! Wouldn't that be a cruel revenge?)

A shame the Stomp IO is coming with 4 directly accessable patches only. Must've been some intensive research at IKMM about what guitar players need for live performances. Personally (and note: I'm NO sound whore at all) I need 6 basic sounds (clean, crunch, driven, then all those with some additional drive/comp or volume in order to use them for solo passages). I need them to be there at the press of ONE single button. Can't afford switching from crunch to driven and then press another knob for the lead boost.
Funny, they're doing the same nonsense at NI. And it's the same for the VOX Valvetronics pedal board too.
Lame.
Seems as if they never cared about live players - but why in the world do they offer floor pedals then?
What about a clever knob layout with secondary functions?!? My rusty GT-5 is doing it extremely well.
Ah what the heck, for serious live playing I won't use any of that shit anyways, so who cares. Might use it for some experimental stuff though.

There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Hey Fritz...
Sorry about that...didn't catch you were joking about the presentation on the site and not the actual stuff they were trying to describe...
I'm in the Washington DC area...if you're going to be in the area, drop me a pm and we'll hook up for a couple of beers for sure!
I even know a couple places where you can get good beer
And Rene...I hope you do come out with your plug...and I'll buy you a beer if you're ever in the area too...
Best,
Rob

Um, sorry if this has already come up in the other 165 pages so far but...(and feeling oddly off-topic):
Does anyone know when Amplitube2 will actually be released?
And, maybe more importantly, when the demo will be?

Hm... let's have a look? Ehm... it's not there?Midiworks wrote:Where is the WahWah/Volume pedal btw ?
Come on, this is a good thing. I hate the boards with included WahWah (look at the first GR1 pedal - what a horrible pedal...). Usually a separate pedal is much better and versatile, IMHO.

Entertaining.
By the way, it isn't access to 4 presets, it is 4,000. Big difference!
When will it be released? Neva!!!!! Mwuaaahahaha! Woops. Just kidding. I have the final version for the PC in my grubby little hands. (walks around like Igor in Young Frankenstein.... or Smeagol "my precious"). The rest has is being worked on plus with all the packaging and shipping around the world stuff... before the end of February? As for the demo version, I don't know yet.
