At NAMM, there was a sign stating that the new version of B4 was supported now. When will we see the release?

Hey guys, I have 12 days left on my NI B4 demo and a licensed copy of version 2 ready to install. Any idea on when the Receptor is going to support the new version?

Any news on this yet? My receptor is due to be delivered on Wednesday and I already have the B4ii ready to go. I'm hoping I don't have to bring my computer to my gigs anymore but I need to have the organ...

Farhan,
If you can answer either of these questions, please do!!
1. Will we be able to have the B4/leslie as an effect?
2. What will the procedure be for updating
from B4 - Plugorama update, or complete reinstall, etc....?

Hi...
Sadly, you can't install NI plug-ins via the unsupported method... their copy protection won't allow that kind of installation.
I will buy Farhan a couple of double expressos to see if that might help him get the installers done sooner rather than later...
Cheers

I'll buy the espressos!! I really need the B4ii baaaad. I am bringing my G4 powermac to gigs because the receptor doesn't have it. The receptor is sitting at home waiting, itching and longing for gigging but will not see the light of day untill it can run the B4ii. Please... it has been over 3 months since B4ii was released plus I've told everyone about the receptor and I feel kinda foolish. I can't tell the band I spent 2 grand but it doesn't run the organ that helped get me hired...got a standing ovation on a solo with the B4ii last weekend.

Must be a pain the ass, but is it any closer to coming out? Is B4 2 really that much better than the original? I'v toyed with the idea of just buying the original already on there, but if it really is such a big improvement i'll hang fire!

Not sure if Muse/NI have worked that out yet.

I've had good luck with crossgrading from PC to Receptor. haven't tried it the other way around. I make a point of doing this anyway. This way, if my Receptor goes south at some point I still have access to the instruments on my computer.
I have done this with B4, Kontakt, and Kompakt.

I may have read that wrong but I think c3boy was talking about purchasing the version of B4 which is already preinstalled on the receptor. If that's the case, there seem to be issues with registering that version of the plugin with Native Instruments so it may cause issues with getting a free upgrade.
