Im trying to import audio from Live to Tracktion

These are full track lenght wavs, and 4 or 8 bar loops rendered in Live at 125 BPM.

but Tracktion is not lining up (for instance) my 8 bar kick loop accurately between 1.1.1 and 9.1.1

whats going on? is there a way to timestretch this or do something to get my 125 BPM loop to 125 BPM in Tracktion

or am i doing something wrong. thanks

.

Is tracktion's tempo set to 125 bpm before you import?

The other thing you can do is highlight the clip, and in the context sensitive bit you choose "set tempo based on clip" or some option like that. I've not got T in front of me just now, but i think you highlight the clip and then look for it down the bottom ...
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"

Is it the Auto Tempo button? From memory ...

If it's a loop, just click the loop and then there's a button in the properties panel, that chico just mentioned, "auto tempo..."

Since you already know it's 125 bpm, just set it in Tracktion. There's no tempo information embedded into a .wav. Some programs are sneaky and will get it from the FILENAME if your filename contains the info ("Drum Loop 125 bpm") but that's about it.
