Routing Audio out of Tracktion

Is there any way to route the master out of a Tracktion edit into say a single track in Ableton Live.

I want to record the master out from a Tracktion edit into a single track in Ableton, so that I can warp it (that one track)as the complete mix of the T2 edit in Live.

Can I use ReWire for this? I haven't had ANY luck getting Tracktion to send any of its stuff into Live. But I can get Live to send and record its stuff into Tracktion. What gives? I love Tracktion, but I NEED Lives elastic audio features. Someone please help.

I can't think of any sequencers that are designed to do this the way you want.

I don't know Live or ReWire, so I'll let more capable people answer your question... I just wanted to give you the heads-up that most sequencers won't communicate with each other quite this way.

You could use your audio cards 'virtual' mixer. Assuming it has that virtual option.

but why don't you just render the master and import it? Did I miss something?

Thanks guys. I had never heard of Virtual Audio Cable or Stream Boy. I've downloaded the demos. After much fussing about with Stream Boy, I think I got it to do what it's supposed to do, but for having so few buttons it's not very intuitive, and the maker has a severe lack of information on the product. There is a list of features and no pdf manual of any sorts to tell you how to get the program to do any of the things that it can supposedly do. I didn't even know if I needed to launch it in one program or both. I only got it to work somewhat by launching it in both programs. And what is with the setting called "Humidity"? I don't know, it's seems like a great program, but it needs refinement and some sort of users guide.

Hey, thanks zOap, could you tell me how I would loop the main out to a stereo input. I don't quite understand. My audio interface is the M-Audio Delta 44.

I can see why it would be confusing. You have to have an instance open in both live and Tracktion. Set the one in Tracktion to "tx" and the one in live to "rx". "Humidity" is the same as "wet" although I don't know the usefulness of that feature in a program like this.
