Wow, I could literally smell the Aqua Net in that clip. If you listen to that stuff too much your head will start to grow a mullet on it's own. A big fluffy mullet. All feathered on the top and sides.

I can smell the tubes burning in that clip. These guys probably all had short hair. It was released in 2000. No mullets here. My hair is long all over. I have been known to hit the Aqua Net from time to time.
The guitar player in the clip is Mike Slamer who played with Steve Walsh from Kansas in a band called "Streets".

I think GR2 is really great. I have a lot of very good (I think) presets. Here is a Brian May preset:

The guitar solo needs be played again I dont like how it is now but It shows you a good sound I think.
Guitars and bass is me and GR2.

Yup, the mix sounds great, VaiHalen! EXCELLENT tone, too, IMO. Then again, I seem to like most of the tones posted here. The actual "performance" of the backing track (ie. other than the guitar solo) lacks oomph. The whole thing seems about 2 or 3 bpm too slow, too.
Also, when you transition from one "take" to the next mid-solo, there needs to be a smoother cross-fade or smoother editing. You want to create the illusion that it was done in one go.
BUT, back to the tone: I think it's great. GR2 is obviously capable of good smooth solo sounds!
