That's nonsense. Since when did Fruity Loops or eXT come bundled with multi-velocity layered samples of a full symphony orchestra? I bought Reason as a full collection of samples/instruments to use for a wide range of musical styles, including classical.Teksonik wrote: Silly analogy yours. I'm making a point on what set of tools and compositional power a certain amount of money will get you. For the price of Reason you can Purchase FL Studio or Orion Platinum plus Energy XT and have so much more power at your fingertips than Reason gives (and probably have some money left over-haven't checked street prices).
Again, that is nonsense. I didn't buy Reason to record audio. I have a host sequencer for that alreadyThen you still can't record audio with Reason so there's a whole other set of options you're missing with Reason. Yes there's Rewire but then that requires the purchase of more software and then Reason's Value for Money plummets even farther.
I bought Reason for the sample content and instruments. Also for the low CPU, efficient coding, and stability. ANd because as of version 3 it has the very best controller mapping available (I'm a keyboard player).
Of course it is. On my laptop I can run 50+ Reason devices simultaneously. FL's Sytrus synth can wipe out my whole CPU with just one patch.the cpu demand issue isn't even an issue anymore.
