i have bought my receptor 3 days ago. since then i´ve tried to install battery, the legacy collection and my waves bundle...but it just doesn´t work...
the vst-i´s aren´t cracks but everytime i try to install battery receptor says that i use the wrong serial-number(i´ve allready installed it on my pc and so i use the unsupported method)
when i try to install the legacy collection receptor only makes a reboot...and thats it...after the reboot i can still see the files in the "install <> files"button...
and the waves dll...always failed to install because?...
i´m sorry but i think i have to bring this device back to my hardware-dealer...i think the idea behind receptor is great but i dont spend 1700euro for device that only runs freeware from 2003...

1) no Battery support (yet) - don't know if they are working on it, seems like a good candidate for the "user installable" method. No NI plugs will work in "unsupported" method though.
2) no support for ANYTHING that requires a syncrosoft dongle, such as Korg Legacy Digital Edition or Philharmonik (or many others). As far as the original Korg Legacy, well doesn't that cute little keyboard act as a "dongle"? Doubt that would ever be supported
3) Can't help you on Waves stuff
As far as "only runs Freeware from 2003", well do a search on plugorama and you might be plesantly surprised. As far as commercial stuff, I am running NI B4, FM7, Pro53, Kompakt, Kontakt2...Spectrasonic Atmosphere, IK SampleTank2 and SonikSynth2, East/West Collosus and PMI Bosendorfer and many others.

well, u r right about the research befor dropping thing...my fault..
1)i checked the battery-discribrion at kvr and there stands "unknown"..and not that it doesn´t work...but i hope for a user-inst.
2)i wouldn´t say that i have checkt every single part of the muse homepage, but i think that it´s a very important point the syncrosoft-stuff doesn´t work with receptor an so should this information be easier to see on the homepage...
3)thx anyway..
at the last point i´ve to say that i´m momently a little bit frustrated because i put a lot of hope into this divice...and i´m mos def not a rich man so i had to save a long time to have the money for these vst-i´s which i have now(except the legacy collection, i bought it 2nd hand without keyboard)....and they won´t work...i´m sure you understand my point...
however..uh...and want to admit my comment above was not meant as offense against the muse research guys...
