Nothing else to do eh ?
Hey! *I* am the original MidiWorx!

*YOU* (MidiWorks) are the fake here!

Now go away already. Shoo!

MW. :hihi:

PS. Did I (MidiWorx) mention the expected release date of April 1st already? Of which century, that is a matter my partners and I will still have to decide on.

That's definitely CR, with far too much time on his hands. Er, kind of like me. But... with the difference being I use my free time for good rather than evil!

Go'way, evil rabbit.

Hi Rene,

when will you release your amp sim plugin(s)?

All the best, FRitz
In the end will be the word.

I'm glad people understand I'm not attacking Rene...but I am being in his face...and for his own good, he needs to know how to take the criticism...trust me they will be twice the complaints when it's done...even if it's the best invention since the guitar string...

I hope he understands that the more promises he makes, the harder it is to live up to them...not living up to a promisie is far more damaging than making an okay pluggin...if it's good and people are surprised more people are impressed...if you make more and more promises even if it's just as good, it will look worse to some...like I said at this time Rene defending his point only serves to hurt him...like Greg says he should ignore this thread and imo spend all his time on the pluggin, not promises...the mob is getting ugly...;)

BTW today is a stellar day for me..if you guys only knew what kinda day it's been (and it's far from over), yet I'm keeping my head...:)

I'm with you Hink...
Good service is such an important part of business. I like to think of it as the "art of managing expectations" which really has two components... Setting a realistic expectation then achieving it. Two many businesses/products overpromise and underdeliver but when you luck onto one that underpromises and overdelivers you will find loyalty for a long time.

Than you looked after they changed the relevant funny text.
Check my profile.

I never called it shit, I said it is totaly overpriced.
There is no AT2, only unconvincing mp3's...

The vocal plugins work perfectly well since the release.(DuosX had 2 minor updates)
They use 3x less cpu than the other and sound cleaner imo.(no strange phasing)

See you all later. :)

You're all more than welcome to report me for being 'MidiWorx', presumably the admins can check the IP addresses or whatever.

I'm quite capable of pointing out MidiWork's nonsense without the need of a new moniker, thanks.

I was under the impression that your plugin is going to cost just as much as AT2. If this is true, then you've no leg to stand on as far as calling AT2 overpriced.

Rene, it doesn't matter what you said, what matters is you said anything at all...you were imo, out of line passing any judgement (and overpriced is judgement) when you are part of the competition...it's that lack of professionalism that I find off base...

about the vocal pluggins...why then are they suspended...they could work to your advantage...no matter how good or how bad, they are donation ware. Do you really expect people after all this time to have enough faith to shell out a large chunk of cash for what essentially is your first commercial product?

I think a few people were trying to be polite saying release the pluggins seperately, when in their heart they were saying "I don't know this guy well enough to buy the whole package".

It's my opinion if you could show the public that you are acting in good faith, you deliver the product and you provide good customer service, it would behoove you in the end. Wouldn't the vocal pluggins be perfect to start your reputation on?

April 1st ?!?!?! I don't know about anywhere else, but in the U.S.A., April 1st is known as "April Fool's Day." Few people believe ANYTHING extraordinary that is mentioned or announced or declared on this day.

CR-- who said anything about "reporting" anyone? Man, it's not a schoolyard. I don't need to "tell on" anybody. ;) Just pointing out that it seemed very much like (ie. identical to) your writing style. I'm willing to admit that text doesn't convey personality/style as well as spoken language, though.

CBT-- Soundspectral amp will be far, far cheaper than AT2's retail price. People who got in sideways into the AT2 upgrade (in a good way! Good for them!) might be looking at only a BIT more than Soundspectral, but the retail cost of AT2 will be fairly substantial.

Only just realised that I'm CBT

Yeah. I got AT1 and the free upgrade. So, I sort of got a really good price. I thought that SS was gonna be $200? Sure I read it somewhere.

Either way: I'm more than happy with my Pod. Would be nice to have a software solution that did everything I wanted though. :D
