I'm very vaguely insulted that you guys think I'd bother to invent a new moniker to point out that Rene is full of crap.

Disregard. I recognize now that I was duped. :oops:

Oh I could so make a joke relating back to this whole thread...but I wont..:hihi: (bites tongue until it bleeds)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Your fake blood is frighteningly similar to the real, valve-powered stuff...

Chibs' Bath Toy wrote:I was under the impression that your plugin is going to cost just as much as AT2. If this is true, then you've no leg to stand on as far as calling AT2 overpriced.
No, not even half the price.

I also pointed out that a "PODxt live" is much cheaper and zero cpu than AT2+Stomp.
(can also be used as ASIO audio-card)

@Hink
Suspended because I have an extended version here.
But no time due to the amp to present it atm in the right way.
Also there was no moneytary interest from my side in the released VST's,
but I would not make them freeware either.

Now I am really out of here,
please no more questions.

I have a theory about this thread, and this entire project...

Midiworks is a psychology student. His brief was to see how a group of people reacted to a non-existant stimuli when new aspects of that stimuli were introduced. He is then to document the results.

I think he gets a B+ with a possible A- for ingenuity.

The text before was funny.
Quite the accusation... doesn't sound probable to me.
Why would Squids do that?
Midiworks wrote:Anyway a click on profile on the left will show whatever I posted before.
Does anyone have a clue what this is supposed to mean?

Ey Midiworks don't worry about all the criticism you are receiving. I think ( and surely it is ) that there are a lot of people interested in your plugin around the world. No matter the way it's being created if the FINAL product satisfies our ears. So what if your method is compare MP3 of real amps sounds with the one's you can obtain with your plug? If thus we get a few good usable sounds will be worth while. (Yes, I'm of the ones who want good sounds to use in the mix and don't need an exact recreation of a 'X' amp). Neither AT nor GR obtained none of these two things IMHO. :?
Don't stop with your work, because is very promissing, and don't lose too much time defending of all the negative feedbacks of 'two' users that you are receiving here. Not the opinion of all readers for sure.
Good luck and RELEASE IT soon, man :D
Maybe a DEMO?!?!?
(excuse me for my english, surely it sucks! :( )

Hi Midiworks , im into this tread from the start but i never posted i just read it all the time , this becomed antology stuff.

I would just like to get answers on 2 questions please.

1- I rembember reading in some of the first pages that youll have a special price on your amp sim for your amp for people in poor countries, and thats fair. But back then i lived in souch country. The problem is that time passed , the things have been changing slowly , we rebuilt our country after war , Europenian Union started negotiations with us , but your amp sim is not in sight yet ,and in few years we will probably be EU members.

So can we soppose to make the price by facts that were back then when i planed to buy product at the fist time as a poor country citizen or youll ignore the fact that you are few years late whit the release and charge me full price ?

2 Years have passed , i have been watchin this tread every day , and the only time i went to visit my familly for xmas you gave away your free sim , so is it possible in any way that i try this thing ? Im sure theres more people here like me that missed that because they went home for holidays and thats their only fault for not getting it for a try.

Thanks

On April 1st, 2006, I will reveal the fact that I "am" MidiWorx. On that same day, I will also make it known, that CR is, in fact, *not* me. Furthermore, on April 1st, 2006 I will reveal the facts that:

- CR is not MidiWorx;
- MidiWorks is not me;
- I am not dimitar;
- MidiWorx is not dimitar;
- CR may, or may not, be dimitar.

In other words: it was a joke. :shock:

Heeb.

P.S.:
1) Until April 1st, 2006, please don't tell anybody!
2) Whether CR and MidiWorks are one and the same, I do not know...
3) The chance that MidiWorks' plugin will be released on, before, or after April 1st, 2006 is 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000001 * 10E-17586. But this estimate might, in fact, be rather high...
4) Whether MidiWorks' plugin will also be a joke, or not, remains to be seen...

Here again:

Win the amp !
The Website must still be done.

Rules:
Make the MAIN Soundspectral amp web page. (one page)
(including link buttons/menue to other pages.)
It should look esthetic(nice), easy for the eye.

I quite like the look of:
http://www.tc-helicon.com/
http://ag-works.net/default.asp?page=plugins.goodies
Just to give you an idea.

Please post your web-design links here or PM them to me.

The design that will be used, will win and get the amp.
(the moment it is relased.)

All entries will get ONE special amp model,
that will NOT be included in the initial release.
(but can be added to it.)

So everyone making one page, can win something. ;)

Good luck and thanks !

Dude.

You are asking that somebody (who would have to have a nature so very, very good that in my opinion they should be made a saint for even considering designing your site) should spend their time designing your (commercial) web site and in return they will (assuming that the thing is ever released, which in my opinion it will not be) be 'given' a plugin that has a market value of precisely $0?!?

Mental.

Well, in fact they will only be given the plugin if their design is chosen :P
Sorry, but I agree that this is simply unreasonable. I am sure that the costs for designing that tc-helicon page were quite a bit higher than the price of a single plugin licence. Why would anyone with good design skills spend hours on a design that might buy 'em a plugin?
You are planning to ask serious money for your amp sim, which is of course your right. But, if you want to be taken seriously, you'll have to act professionaly. Asking people on a public forum to design a website for your business, doesn't look that way imho...
