thanks aleksey,

currently the only time i dont want the phase shift is with kick drums. for dance music i find even one instance makes the low freqs just too sloppy. but i'd quite happily take that in exchange for it being so great on everything else.

martian, phase-linear mode is designed exactly for the cases where low-freq phase shifting is too much, because it steals some bite (on the other hand, it makes sound smoother as a result of that). But I hope everybody is happy now. ;)

Oh yeah :-) - the range of effects you can get out of Marquis now is impressive. It is really flexible - still get a kick out of that T3 mode.

Dontcha know?, girls don't think about the package. :hihi:

Shane, funny. :) I kinda know this logic.. If that's head, it should be cushion.. If that's cushion it should be bed, if that's bed it's probably about sex. ;)

yes i know :)

just informing you of the only occasion id personally consider using it. although i havent decided yet whether the transient trade off with lin phase is significant to me in this particular situation (havent had time to try it properly yet). although being a compressor this is probably the one place you can make up for it, no? :)

thanks,
