thanks aleksey,
currently the only time i dont want the phase shift is with kick drums. for dance music i find even one instance makes the low freqs just too sloppy. but i'd quite happily take that in exchange for it being so great on everything else.

just informing you of the only occasion id personally consider using it. although i havent decided yet whether the transient trade off with lin phase is significant to me in this particular situation (havent had time to try it properly yet). although being a compressor this is probably the one place you can make up for it, no?
