dude you're way out of line here...Jens is a top notch person, as is Greg...I am more than proud to call both friends and at the same time humbled by the respect they have shown me...I really think before you call someone a douchebag you should get to know someone before you attack them, especially someone like Jens...agentdark1 wrote:yes but you sound like a royal douchebag so I really dont give a shit if you find him funny or not.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Wow this must be the longest running flame fest in KVR history. Amazing it hasn't been locked yet. Nothing more to add but do carry on. Very amusing reading.

A douche (taken from the French for "shower") is a little bottle-like device that women use to clean their vaginas. Some of these devices used a "bag", sort of like a hot water bottle in appearance, to hold the water with which the women could douche.
That's a douchebag. A part of a device used to clean women's vaginas.

A guy is sitting at the bar a says to the bartender " Give that Douchebag at the end of the bar a drink". The bartender says "Sir we don't use that kind of language in this establishment". Ok I apologize just get her a drink. The bartender goes over and tells the woman that the guy wants to buy her a drink. "What will you have?" says the barkeep. " Vinegar and water" says the woman.Lunch Money wrote:A douche (taken from the French for "shower") is a little bottle-like device that women use to clean their vaginas. a priest, a rabbi and a minister are playing golf. They come upon a group ahead of them playing quite slow and they were getting a little aggravated. One of the grounds keepers notice their angst and explained to them that the players ahead of them were all blind.
The priest said "my those poor soles stricken with such a disability"
The minister said "my what strength it must take for them to overcome such a handicap"
The rabbi said "what, they couldn't play at night...

I have and am devoting days and days of work (photography, design and web development) to someone who's working entirely for profit (and charges a lot for an excellent product). Why? Because I want to. Is it noble? What the f**k do I care? I'm doing it because I feel like it. And anyone who feels like disparaging me for that decision can talk to my hairy asshole. How about that? Does that compare?_niko_ wrote:I also don't see at all, how this compares to the work you put into Betabugs or GVst. Both are idealism driven projects, offering sth. to the community for free (or a donation) and thus non profit driven. Soundspectral on the other hand want to sell their plugins to the community. The estimated price mentioned so far, doesn't sound very community friendly either to me, so how exactly is this a noble cause that deserves free support?

I have noticed (as a long time lurker) that many KVR threads have a certain amount of acrimony, which is unfortunate as I think this is a really great forum. I attribute it to a lack of moderation of the threads, but I know that Muse has better things to do than keep watch on the kiddies.G-Ro124 wrote:As usual, a KVR thread becomes a gang battle against one individual.
I sympathize with you Greg: sometimes, KVRers become a group of rabid hounds, many times unfairly

» I Believe
They said you wouldn't make it so far a a
And ever since they've said it its been hard
But never mind that night'cha had to cry
Cause you had never let it go inside
You worked real hard and you know exactly what you want and need so believe
And you can never give up
You can reach your goals
Just talk to your soul and say
[Chorus:]
I believe i can
I believe i will
I believe i know my dreams are real
I believe i can
I believe i will
I believe i hold it soon man
That is what i do believe
Your fools are justas singing, your soul aha
And you know that your moves will let them show
You keep creating pictures in your mind
So just believe they will come true in time
It will be fine leave all of your kiss and stress behind and
Just let it go
Let the music go inside again the pain
It just start to believe
[Chorus]
[Rap passage]
Nevermind what people say
Hold your head high and turn away
With all my hopes and dreams I will believe
Even though it seems it's not for me
I won't give up, i'll keep it up
Looking to the sky
I will achieve on my knees
I will always believe
[2x chorus]
---------------------------------------------------
Is it to late to go in peace, i wonder how
how these things did start, anyway
Maybe to late to find a way, when the
trail of grief is marked with memories
Now when you're gone, the warmth
of the sun seems so faraway
I Believe in everything i see, every
second is a miracle for me
I Believe after sunshine comes the
rain, and when it's pouring down
the only thing i feel is pain
I walk alone through shapeless dreams
my only home is the wasteland that i cross
I close the door and turn the key
those days of joy are barely memories
Now when you're gone, your star will
shine on, won't you shine for me
I Belive in everything ...
