I have searched the whole internet I think! It seems like it's just common knowledge, but I can't figure it out. D'oh!
I just got Tracktion 2 yesterday and want to try out this Amplitube.
Thanks a bunch,
Jason

Okay, I'm calm now. I have read the help, the FAQs, Searched the forum, searched Google and read the tutorials.
Can you offer up any help?
Thanks,
Jason

grab "new filter" icon and drag it down to the right hand side of a track. put it before the others. you'll get visual clues. choose amplitube from the list presented. drag an input icon on the left to the same track. your off. oh and switch on "E to E"

You might also need to need to set your plugin directories in the settings section.

ok Jason ... to get you going ... (try to ask a bit more specific next time)
did you already manage to set up your hardware, did you manage to record something in tracktion?
just pick the arrow "new filter" (mouse click holding down the button) and drag it on the right side of a track
then you can choose the plugin you want and well thats it, everything coming from the track will be routed through the plugin

nothin' like a genuine asshole to make a new toy a fun thing to use eh? get it together man!

anyway...
drag one of the "filters" onto a slot to the right of the waveform and then pick one from the list, then manipulate the parameters to taste. it's a different way of working, but it's really a nice feature once you get used to it.
any more questions, don't hesitate to post anywhere you feel like posting. welcome to the KVR RMS Tracktion users forum!! you're welcome to ask any old question you come up with... we're here for you.

hmm this is a bit harsh - there was a question mark in Karbons post
anyway - this thread shows that tracktion sometimes is too easy to understand

Easy now guys...
Another great help is to leave the pop up help on in Tracktion. Move you mouse over different areas and read the pop ups. After a while this gets really annoying, then and only then you can turn it off by pressing, help, turn off pop up help.
Btw, welcome to the community.
Stick around and you will learn new and exciting things about the most
intuitive, easy to use sequencer in
the world:)
Oh, and Tracktion does not have a mixer.
Don't ask where it is, someone will bite your head off:)
