hmmm... red text? In the GUI? Or do you mean the label of the .component file itself?

Missing controls? - Seriously, this sounds like the gui config file is somehow corrupted.

Maybe you should put the .zip on your USB stick and unpack it on the Mac?

Mean the label of the .component-file. Just thought about this points to something wrong with the file (as there is something wrong actually!)

My sorrows are just that some resources seem to stay somewhere, being not deleted if just the .component-file is removed. The first version of zebra2 worked ok and was extracted the same way!

The stuffit from the mac doesn´t work since several years - it just pops up, but no extraction is done - All other uploads I usually do worked well with the stuffit-extraction from the windows-pc till now...

The GUI works of course - you can turn the knobs and all that - just some knobs and some shapes to keep the knobs together to a unit (as an FCO) are missing
At the place of the missing knobs you see just the red or yellow level-adjustment-bars... Wieder mal strange...

same here: Mac osx 10.3.9 logic express

but i'm very impressed by the sound of the zebra!

I want to use it in some of my tracks, but as it's still in demo mode, i'd rather wait untill i've got the 'upgrade' mail, when will that be?

No problems here, 10.3.9 and Logic Pro / Live.

Could do with a master tune knob though... saves having to tune up my guitar correctly...

no i didn't unpack from a pc.
my musicmac i work with isn't connected to the internet.
with my 'home' mac (osx 10.4) i downloaded the file, and then transfered it to my musicmac (osx 10.3.9), so maybe there went something wrong....

Hmmm, okay. At least we know now that both of you have transferred it.

My guess is, some graphics have not been copied. Maybe there was a problem with file permissions or something.

Here's a little test procedure:

When you ctrl-click Zebra2.component on your studio machine, select "Show Package Contents" or "Paketinhalt zeigen" (German...) from the contextual menu.

A new Finder Window will open up. Browse to Contents/Resources/Images/Panes/

Now, there should be 13 .png files. Do you have 13?

Can you open "OSC1.png" and "VCF1.png" in Preview.app?

I sorted it out, too. (Although not knowing, where exactly the fault was...)
Kicked my StuffIt 9.0 (which didn´t work anymore for some unknown reasons) and put StuffIt 10.0.1 on the Mac - extracted the files, transferred from the PC with this one, installed again and - all fine...
Weird: the zebra2.component- file (with the red label under the text) now shows only a white sheed, not the component-box at the icon - but works as a charm.

(Dassolleinerverstehen...)

Beim Kopieren eines anderen, vorher mit StuffIt PC extrahierten AU-Plugins auf den USB-Stick bekam ich übrigens kürzlich einmal folgende Meldung: Warnung! Wenn sie dieses File kopieren, werden einige Unterverzeichnisse und Componenten nicht mitkopiert!
Vielleicht lags in meinem Fall ja daran - daß der PC mit bereits extrahierten, einzelnen Dateien, die weitere Packete enthalten, Schwierigkeiten hat... Gibts ja beim PC so wohl nicht, oder?

Egal, jetzt geht alles - super!
