Assume you are talking about the "Expansion Tank" add-in libs. Yes they work fine in SampleTank2 on Receptor. I don't have that one, but I have the piano, guitar, bass and drum ones.c3boy wrote:Doe's anyone know if this works on receptor?

you just copy over the entire directory for the library...I put mine in the same folder and my ST2 and SS2 libs and make that folder the "root" for ST2, then they all appear in the browser together.

Yes that's right. Do the strings/violins in particular sound as good as GPO? I like GPO, but I only want the strings of it, so it's a bit pricey for just that.

I was assuming you have SampleTank2 already installed on Receptor. Thought the "le" comes with the Expansion Tanks, I don't believe it works on Receptor.
I cannot comment on the sounds of the Symphony Strings vs. GPO, but in general SampleTank stuff doesn't sound as good a "modern sample libraries" that play in, for instance, Kontakt2 and utilize disk streaming (DFD). For what they are, the sampleTank things sound good, but they are, in general, much smaller samples that "modern sample libraries".
