Has anyone tried this yet with tracktion? I know I could go in through the Mackie 1620. But I would like to be able to go directly into Tracktion2 using the USB on the PodXT Live.[/b]
Just trying to learn about recording, that is if my head is not too hard.

Yup, you can do it. Just install the drivers, and your POD will appear in the list of input devices.
Select the ASIO for low-latency operation (but you can't use the 1620 at the same time) or WDM if you need to use both cards at the same time.
There are a zillion different routing options you can use in order to "directly monitor" your effected tone while still recording, but it'd take some doing to list them all.
Point being: you can do it!
